ABOUT ME

I am Lucy Colbourne, a Makeup Artist from Bournemouth who specialises in fantasy editorial which is pushing the boundaries of editorial and mixing it with special effects. I believe that makeup is all about creating something unique and to make conversation starters as makeup is an art form with no right or wrongs. I love to take a horror/ fantasy style creative vision towards makeup and am more passionate towards the darker side of the makeup industry and it heavily influences my personal style as well as my work.

Vintage horror, museums and the macabre are some of my own interests that affect my work and style as I take a lot of inspiration from everything around me to create my final ideas. I love creating art from paintings to sketching as art connects to makeup and helped me bring my ideas to life. The gothic subgenere is something that inspires my everyday life including my work and influences a majority of my creative direction in projects.
